I am a graduate of Tennessee State University with a BS degree in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry. My interest in fitness began at the beginning of my senior year of College. I had volunteered at Saint Thomas Hospital’s fitness facility where I served the elderly and the sick, helping them recover from traumas of all kinds. There I would engage with individuals to help restore their health and strengthen their ability to perform everyday tasks. When it came time to leave, I couldn’t. I stayed for two years. The moment I picked up a pair of dumbbells to demonstrate the basic application of exercise movement, I immediately felt a spark! Since then, a positive energy has emerged in me that is a fundamental part of my personality. Recently, I’ve had the privilege to join the great Delta team and am thrilled to be a full-time coach here. I love my role of motivator; of leader, supervising others to adherence and commitment to improved quality of life through long-term consistency of a fit lifestyle.
